LIQUIP AVIATION CELEBRATES 24 MONTHS LTI FREE
September 2009 saw Liquip Aviation pass a significant health and safety milestone, clocking up 2 years without a Lost Time Injury.
With a solid safety culture embedded within the Liquip and IES businesses, more and more safety milestones are being achieved. General Managers of each division presented plaques to their respective teams to commemorate the event and bears the names of all the employees who contributed to the achievement.

Liquip recently delivered 8 articulated refuellers to the Royal Australian Air Force. The 4 compartment 30KL tankers are being deployed at various bases across Australia and supply fuel directly into military aircraft via a twin reel twin meter delivery system which is mounted beneath the belly of the tank to minimise the overall vehicle length. 380 HP Scania prime movers complete the vehicle and are a welcome addition to the RAAF fleet.

Mr Vinod Kumar of Oman Oil and Craig Sheddan of Air BP recently visited the Liquip Aviation manufacturing facility in Melbourne to conduct Factory Acceptance Testing of Oman Oil's recently ordered hydrant dispenser.

Qantas Defence Services, the program manager for the through life support of the RAAF KC30A project, has signed a contract with the Aviation Division of the Melbourne based company, Liquip International for the supply of four Hydrant Dispensers.
The Hydrant Dispensers will be capable of refueling a KC30A aircraft with a flow rate up to 4000LPM, and consists of two 2” x 30m of reel hose, and two 2 1/2” hoses for the extendable work platform. The refueling module is mounted on an Isuzu NPR400 cab-chassis.

Liquip Aviation have been awarded an order to build 67 aviation refuelling vehicles for Pertamina Aviation in Indonesia. Currently being built in our manufacturing facility in Reidsville Nth Carolina USA, the 48 refuellers, 16 hydrant dispensers and 3 pit service vehicles will be delivered in 2010 via our partners SSB and Nesitor.
